چکیده
Abstract The aim of the present study was to perform a detailed morphological analysis an injectable platelet rich fibrin after combination with two different particulate hydroxyapatite-based granules, porous zirconia block, and laser-textured or titanium surfaces. Blood samples were harvested from three participants prepare flowable PRF in contact not hydroxyapatite (Hap), bone mineral granules (DBBM), blocks, Optical scanning electron microscopy (SEM) used evaluate network density, fibers’ diameter, blood cells, interaction biomaterials. Histomorphometry also performed using hematoxylin–eosin staining protocol. Specimens independently evaluated by blinded well-trained researchers histomorphometry microscopy. Particulate Hap DBBM shown aspects SEM analyses since revealed macro- micro-scale pores while dense structure. Evaluation of intrabony defects treated with platelet-rich fibrin or autogenous bone graft: A comparative analysis
OBJECTIVE The primary objective of this study was to compare clinically and radiographically the efficacy of autologous platelet rich fibrin (PRF) and autogenous bone graft (ABG) obtained using bone scrapper in the treatment of intrabony periodontal defects. MATERIALS AND METHODS Thirty-eight intrabony defects (IBDs) were treated with either open flap debridement (OFD) with PRF or OFD with AB...

متن کاملPlatelet-rich fibrin in the treatment of periodontal bone defects.
BACKGROUND Periodontitis is characterized by the formation of true pockets, bone loss and attachment loss. Various techniques have been attempted in the past to truly regenerate the lost periodontal structures, albeit with variable outcome. In this evolution, the technique being tried out widely is the use of platelet rich concentrates, namely platelet-rich fibrin (PRF). CASE DESCRIPTION In t...

متن کاملPlatelet-rich fibrin (PRF) in implant dentistry in combination with new bone regenerative technique in elderly patients
INTRODUCTION Some studies have demonstrated that platelet rich fibrin (PRF) is a healing biomaterial with a great potential for bone and soft tissue regeneration, without any inflammatory reactions and may be used alone or in combination with bone grafts, promoting hemostasis, bone growth, and maturation. PRF appears as a natural and satisfactory aid in bone regenerative surgery in elderly pati...
